Product Description

Over two years, the CenterLine Reformer was developed in close collaboration with Amy Tayler Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel of Boulder, Colorado's The Pilates Center. This more traditional Reformer has upgraded parts from Balanced Body's nearly fifty years of experience making Reformers, based on the dimensions of the original Pilates apparatus.

The CenterLine Reformer offers some subtle but noteworthy innovations that educators and students will find very valuable. Every touch point on the Reformer—from stable, comfortable shoulder blocks to unplaited semi-heavy springs—is made to give the user exactly what they want. The CenterLine provides the deliberate resistance, feedback, and "end feel" that are necessary for the genuine carriage ride experience, along with firm support for the hands, feet, and shoulders. We put a lot of thought and care into the CenterLine Reformer, as you can see and feel.

The CenterLine Reformer is 1" narrower in width and 2" shorter in length than our other wood reformers. Additionally, the CenterLine Reformer comes with leather handles and straps as standard (although our other Balanced Body Reformers do not have these features).
